ΛFRICΛN?

I ΛM ΛN ΛFRICΛN is a student-run concept that developed out of the need for a collective identity for all (South) Africans to subscribe to.

“We need an identity that’s more than Ndebele patterns or volk-treffers: We need an identity that can be worn by every member of our diverse nation,” say the founders and partners of I ΛM ΛN ΛFRICΛN.

Based in Cape Town, the partners and followers I ΛM ΛN ΛFRICΛN wish to develop an image of the ideal (South) African that is collective in their actions, and all-encompassing in their approach to others.

The I ΛM ΛN ΛFRICΛN movement provides people with an opportunity to express their identity, by wearing it.

based in Cape Town, the label has chosen to maintain its rare, sui generis approach to the market, and chooses to sell only through word of mouth and now in two stores.

The I ΛM ΛN ΛFRICΛN shirt offers its wearer the affirmation of their identity, and of their place in Africa.

We believe that by affirming our citizenship, first and foremost, we are able to move toward a united image.

WHO ΛRE YOU? I ΛM ΛN ΛFRICΛN.
